ROCHELL, Wake Co., 5 Jan. 1856 My Will Hear in the State of North Carolina, Wake county I proseed to rite my wish and will being in my right mind and elements I wish for my wife Mary Jane ROCHELL to hav my tract or land I now hold at my deth, paying all of my just debts and at my wifes deth I want my heirs Lieweaney Margaret ROCHELL and Ezekiel Alsey ROCHELL and if we have any more heirs I want them to have eaquel propotion with the two mention if my Father leaves me any more land I want my wife Mary Jane to have the land rent free her life time and at her death I want my heirs to hold it. Lieweaney and Alsey and if I hav any more heirs I want them to hav a equel shear with the two a bove mention if I dy in det I want my wife Mary Jane to pay all of my dets that is Just dets and have every thing I have got her life time this the 5th day of January 1856. HALL A proper writing without subscribing witnesses supporting to be the last will and testament of George W. ROCHELL deceased is exhibited for probate in open court byt he Executor there in named; and it is thereupon proved by this oath and examination of A. H. ROCHELL that the said will was found among his valuable papers of the said George W. ROCHELL of his death, and it is further proved by the oath and examination of three competent & credible witnesses, to wit: A. H. ROCHELL, R.S. ROSS & S. D. HALL. That they are acquainted with his hand writing of the said George W. ROCHELL having often seen him write and only believe that the name of the said George W. ROCHELLE subscribed to this said will, and the said will itself and every part thereof are in his hand writing of the said George W. ROCHELL. And it is further proved by the widow of --then last mentioned witness, that the said writing is generally known to the acquantences of the said George W. ROCHELLE. It is therefore considered by this Court, that the said paper writing is the last will and testament of the said George W. ROCHELL, and the ---- is ordered to be recorded and filed. George W.
