In the name of God Amen:
I William ROCHEL of the County of Wake and State of N.C. being of sound mind
and memory blessed be God do this ,31 day of March 1818 make and publish this
my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say:Recommend my
Soul to God my Body to be buried in a decent manner at the Discretion fo my
Exec., Secondly my worldly goods to be desposed of in the following manner:
First of all I give to my Dear wife Polly ROCHELL all the property that I am
possess as long as she doth live to expose of as she sees proper to raise my
five youngest children and five shillings a peace to all my lawful heirs
besides after paying of all my debts and also I my worthi wife Polly ROCHELL,
Henderson ROCHELL executors to this my Last Will and Testament in witness
whereof I the said William ROCHELL have to this my Last Will and Testament hand
and seal the day and year above written signed sealed and declared by the said
William (X)ROCHELL
William ROCHELL Testate as his Last Will and Testament as in the presence of
us who were present at the time of signing and sealing thereof:
Test: Ephraim RAY,J.W.CAPE/CASE? (X)
Wake Co.,N.C. May Term 1818, The four giving Last Will and Testament of William
ROCHELL came into open Court duly provend and ordered to be recorded.
