THOMAS, John Giles       WILL          R. April 11, 1785        pg. 41
In the names of God, Amen, 
I, give to my oldest son Giles THOMAS:  Negro BRISCO. 
To my daughter Gasky RUNNELLS:  lend for her lifetime, Negro ISBEL and her 
increase then go to her second son Mark RUNNELS. 
To my son John Giles THOMAS:  Negro JACK. 
To my daughter Patience ROCHELL:  lend for her lifetime, Negro LIZEY, then 
LIZEY to go to estate of Patience ROCHELL. 
To my daughter Alley THOMAS, Negro BOB.
To my daughter Charlotte THOMAS:  Negro DINAH. 
To my son Charles Allen THOMAS:  Negro HALF JOE. 
To my youngest daughter Betsy THOMAS:  her choice of the Negro children that 
wenches is now pregnant with, if they should be born alive or either of them 
come to perfection.  
To my daughter Christian JONES:  English shilling. 
To my daughter Havins Clarey ABERNETHIE:  bed. 
To my wife Frances THOMAS:  lend plantation whereon I now live; livestock; 
tools; furniture; 7 Negroes, DUCK, PETER, SAUL, ANTHONY, RANGER, SILVER, 
SARAH. 
Land to become property of son Charles Allen THOMAS. 
7 Negroes and increase, except as before excepted, to be equally divided among 
three youngest children. 
Jan 30, 1785.
