DURHAM MORNING HERALD - 06-15-1975, P. 14

  WISE - Mrs. Florence Wilkerson Paynter, 79, died at 1:45 a.m. Saturday at 
Warren General Hospital after being ill for 2 1/2 years.

  The funeral will be held today at 4 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Chapel in 
Warrenton by the Rev. Ben Haygood. Burial will be i the Wise Cemetery.

  Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Catherine Parham of Capron, Va.; four sons, 
Luther F. Paynter, Maynard D. Paynter and Leonard L. Paynter of Wise and Andrew 
W. Paynter of Richmond, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Mary Collins of Wise; a half-
brother, Raymond Wilkerson of Henderson; and 35 grandchildren and 43 great-
grandchildren.
