RITES FOR PAYNTER TO BE HELD SUNDAY

   WARRENTON, July 30 - Last rites for Pfc. Walter Clayton Paynter, 22, will be 
held Sunday at Wise Cemetery at 3 p.m.  He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Maynard A. 
Paynter of Wise and went overseas in February 1944. He was wounded and died later 
in England on July 29, 1944.

  Surviving besides his parents are one sister and five brothers.

  The body will remain at Blaylock Funeral Home in Warrenton until 2:30 p.m. 
Sunday.
