Medicus Alston

We the subscribers being at the house of Mrs. Martha Alston on the morning
of the 26th of Septm 1809 then and there being calld upon by Medicus Alston
to take notice that it was his will & desire that his mother Martha Alston
should have and hold all his estate both real & personal after paying his
just debts and further it was his desire that all the lower [illegible] of
his land with his crop & stock of every description [illegible] to his
mother her [?] thirds [?] of the land should be sold and the money arising
therefrom should [?] [illegible] [illegible] [illegible] to the payment of
his debts or as much thereof [?] as is necessary. [illegible] where we have
hereunto set our hands & seals this 27th Sep 1809.

This noncupetive will of Medicus Alston decd was proved in Open Court by
the oaths of H. G. W[smudge]-illiams & Thos Mayfield and ordered to be
recorded.
