In the name of God Amen I James Harris Sr. of the County of Warren & State of N
Carolina being weak in Body yet of sound & perfect mind & memory Do make &
ordain this to be my last Will & Testament & none other in manner & form
following Viz.
Item I Give & Bequeath to my Son Claiborne Harris half the tract of my Land to
be laid off on the upper part to the tract next to John Egertons land & part of
which He has Sold By my Consent to his Brother James likewise One Negro Girl
named Kate One Negro fellow Chance One Negro fellow Nabow A Negro Girl Joan a
Negro Girl Faithy A Negro Man Abram & Negro Boy Sharper & one feather Bed &
furniture to him & his Heirs forever.
Item I Give & Bequeath to my Son James Harris the other half of my Land
including the Plantation One Negro fellow Scott One Negro Girl Lydia one Negro
fellow Shaw One Negro Boy Pointer One Negro fellow Jacob One Negro fellow Chavas
One Negro Woman Amey & one feather Bed & furniture to him & his heirs forever.
Item I Give & Bequeath to my Daughter Celah Bobbitt one Negro Boy Boson One
Negro fellow Boston one Negro Girl Holly one Negro Girl Venus One Negro fellow
Tone One Negro boy Warren one Negro Boy Carrey one Negro Girl Jeanie also one
feather Bed &furniture to her & her Heirs forever As to the residue of my Estate
My Will & desire is that it shall be equally Divided amongst my three Claiborne
Harris James Harris & Celah Bobbitt in whatever manner they can agree apone 
I Appoint my Sons Claiborne Harris & James Harris Executors of this my last will
& Testament 
In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand & Seal this Thirteenth day of
April 1800

James Frame and William Miller proved this Will in Open Court which is ordered
to be Recorded whereupon James Harris one of the Exers therein named Qualified

Additional Comments:
The Warren County Will abstracts claims this to be James Harris, Jr.  The will
in fact seems to say James Harris Sr.  His close proximity to the Egerton Family
seems to indicate a close relationship to Charles Harris and Joseph Harris,
brothers and both sons of Robert Harris and Ann Fulgham of Isle of Wight County
Virginia.  This James Harris appears to be the son of Robert Harris and Ann
Fulgham.  His father in his will left him half on his property.
