I Lawrence Lancaster of the County of Warren County and State of No. Carolina being in a declining state of health but of sound mind and memory do ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, viz: Primis: ITEM: I give and bequeath to my son Lawrence Lancaster one hundred acres of land more or less beginning at a large red oak near the corner of the old? Thence on east course to an old pine, thence south to Matt Harris line, thence east to John Lancaster’s line, then along John Lancaster’s line to W. Hardison? Corner tree, thence along P.’s? line, north to C. P. Harriss’s corner tree, then walk? along P. Harris’s line to a corner, thence to a Branch then on East cours by the branch to his first station. And likewise I give Lawrence and his heirs a Negro woman Agg to him during his natural life, afterwards, I give her freedom. I likewise give him two guns, that he has in his possession, a rifle and smooth bore, also a new suit of clothing already made and a riding coat and the land is to be kept together by him until the crop is finished at New Year’s Day and he to have one half of the crop, also one yew and lamb. ITEM: I give and bequeath to my daughter Patty a slave and land containing fifty acres more or less: Thence along Person’s line to Lawrence Lancaster’s corner but to her and her heirs, also a Negro girl, the name of Dill, also a yew and lambe. ITEM: I give to my son, Moses Lancaster, the remainder of my land, joining Jo. Harris, H. Person’s, also a Negro named Tome, also what he has in possession and one sow and pigs. ITEM: I give and bequeath to my daughter Celah, daughter, Betsey one Negro by the name of Sall on the day of her marriage, but if she should die before marriage to go to my other children after her mother’s death and also the said Negro to remain with her mother until one is married. ITEM: I give and bequeath to my son William Lancaster one Negro by the name of Sam. ITEM: I give and bequeath to my son Sam’l Lancaster one Negro girl named Priss. ITEM: I give and bequeath to my son, Aaron Lancaster one Negro fellow names Charles. ITEM: I give and bequeath to my son, John Lancaster, Lucy Williafred and Mary Haslewood and Absolom Lancaster and Nancy Williams all my stock and household furniture to be equally divided between except what I have already given. LASTLY: I nominate and appoint my sons, Lawrence Lancaster, William Lancaster and John Lancaster, my son in law, my executors of this my last Will and Testament utterly revoking and disannulling all other wills by me heretofore made.
