Martin of the County of Warren and State of North Carolina being of sound mind and disposing memory do make and ordain this to be and contain my last Will and Testament. Item First - That my daughter, Carrie T. Martin is to have all my money, and my Ford car and my piano. Item Second - That all the rest of my household furniture and house and land be equally divided between Willie D. Martin, Rosa L. Faucett, Lena J. Wynn, Sue N. Wilker, Carrie T. Martin, Mary E. Watson and Walter C. Martin and that Eddie T. Martin is to have One Dollar. Mary E. Watson is to have my Victrola and Mrs. Lillie S. Midgett is to have one Dollar. I do hereby nominate my son Willie D. Martin my executor to this my last will and testament to act and do as he thinks best for the best interest of my estate. I am to have a decent burial out of the estate, but not until Carrie gets her money. The burial is to come out of the furniture and land and stock. Frazier State of North Carolina Warren County In the Superior Court A paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Julia J. Martin deceased, is exhibited before me, the undersigned, Clerk of the Superior Court for Said County by Willie D. Martin the executor therein mentioned, and the due execution thereof by the said Julia J. Martin is proved by the oath and examination of C H. Shearin and G. R. Frazier, the subscribing witness thereto who being duly sworn, doth depose and say, and each for himself deposeth and saith, that he is a subscribing Witness to the paper writing now shown him, purporting to be the last Will and testament of Julia J. Martin that the said Julia J. Martin in the presence of deponent subscribed her name at the will of said writing, which is now shown as aforesaid, and bears date of the 31st day of January 1927. And this deponent further saith, that the said Julia Martin the testatrix aforesaid, did, at the time of s??? her name as aforesaid, declare the said paper to ??? so subscribed by her and initiated to be her Last Will and Testament, and this deponent did thereupon ??? his name at the end of said Will, as are attest ??? witness thereto, and at the request and in the p?????? of said testatrix. And this deponent further said at the same time when the said testatrix s??? her name to the said last will as aforesaid, a???? time of the deponents subscribing his name as at???? witness thereto, as aforesaid, the said Julia J. Martin of sound mind and memory, of full age to w???? will, and was not under any restraint, to t??? information or belief of this deponent. And furthe??? deponents say not.
