William Douglass & Co.

vs.

Alpheus Forbes Jr.

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant 
is not a resident of this State; it is therefore ordered by the Court that 
publication be made for six successive weeks in the Edenton Gazette for 
Alpheus Forbes Jr. to come forward replevy and plead, answer or demur, or 
final judgment will be entered up against him and all property so attached 
condemned to satisfy the same.
Witness: Joseph C. Norcom, Clerk of the said Court at office.
On the third Monday of August 1831
