STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA   WASHINGTON COUNTY COURT    JUNE TERM, 1807

DANIEL DAVENPORT
     vs.
ARTHUR JONES

Original Attachment: Returned levied on the lands of ARTHUR JONES in Washington
County

The Court being satisfied that the said Defendant, ARTHUR JONES, is not a 
resident of said County, ordered, That the Clerk advertise the proceedings in 
the Edenton Gazette, so that he, the said defendant, may appear at the next 
Term, to be held for the said County, on the third Monday in September next, 
to replevy and plead if he chooses; otherwise, final judgment will be taken 
and the Land sold.
                            TEST.
