Original attachment - Returnable to the 3rd Monday of Nov 1828 and James 
Gordon having been summoned as garnishee

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant J.E. Burwell 
is not an inhabitant of this district; it is therefore ordered by the Court 
that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Edenton Gazette 
notifying J.E. Burwell to appear at said Court on the 3td Monday of February 
next to plead, answer or demur to said attachment or final judgment will be 
entered up against him.
