Term 1821 Joel Thorp Vs. Joseph W. Scott Judicial attachment returned "levied upon all the estate of Joseph W. Scott of and in the certain lots in the town of Plymouth, known in the plan of the said town by the numbers 100, 101, 172" - judgment by default and inquiry. It is ordered by the Court that notice be given to the said Joseph W. Scott for 3 months in the Edenton Gazette that unless he appear at the next Superior Court of Law to be held for Washington County on the second Monday in March, 1822, and replevy and plead or demur, final judgment will be entered according to act of Assembly.
