Appointed Brig. General And Resigned
 From the Edenton Gazette, Jan. 23, 1830 --
   PETER O. PICOT, ESQ. of Plymouth, has been elected, after several 
ballotins, Brigadier General of the 13th Brigade of North Carolina Militia.
   [PETER O. PICOT resigned the post on Nov. 17, 1829].
