This morning they ran me on shore and took a large schooner; since, they ran a brig on shore; and are now on the point of taking another schooner, all supposed to be coasters. They fired at me a great number of round and grape shot, and when near enough, a constant fire of musketry was kept up, but done no more damage with their shot than cutting a hole in the mainsail. Several balls feel on deck.
