   DEPARTED THIS LIFE, on the 19th inst., in the 36th year of his age, after 
an illness of 40 days (Haemoptisis Phistisia) DANIEL BATEMAN, ESQ. As a 
neighbor he was charitable, as a friend he was attached and as a citizen, he 
was respected. In him, his friends have lost an agreeable companion, a mother, 
a beloved son, and his country a worthy member. He had long served the county 
of Washington in a Representative capacity with merited applause.
