(May 15, 1979) She was born in Watauga County, Feb. 19, 1892, daughter of the late Joseph C. and Nora Phillips Mast. She was a member of the Hensons Chapel United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Miss Annabel Bingham of Sugar Grove and Mrs. Stach (Elizabeth) Eggers, Jr. of Boone; three sisters, Mrs. Inez Horton and (sic) Riva, Md., Mrs. Harriet Brooks of Washington, D.C. and Mrs. Nora Wilson of Zionville; three brothers, O. P. Mast of Washington, D.C., J. T. Mast and Jake C. Mast, both of Vilas. She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Burl Greer. Burial will follow in Mount Lawn Memorial Park & Gardens. (Boone, NC) Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to the Dr. J. B. Hagaman Jr. Coronary Care United of the Watauga County Hospital. Hampton Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangement.
