The Rev. J. H. Crisp and the Rev. Will Bolick will officiate. Burial will be in the Tolbert cemetery. Born in Watauga county May 11, 1883, she was the daughter of the late Eli and Cora Rominger Tester. She was a member of the John’s River Baptist church. She and her husband, G. M. Hartley, would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday. Surviving in addition to her husband are six daughters, Mrs. W. A. Thompson of Globe, Mrs. C. A. Greene of Linville, Mrs. William Ford of Lenoir, Route Eight, Mrs. L. O. Tolbert, Mrs. Howard Coffey and Mrs. Johnny Broyhill, all three of Blowing Rock; four sons, Frank Hartley of Linville, Fred Hartley of Lenoir, Route Eight, Ralph Hartley of Boone, and Dan Hartley of Blowing Rock; 57 grandchildren and 25 great-granchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, John Tester of Lenoir, Route Six and Charles Tester of Valle Crucis; and a sister, Mrs. James Beard of Johnson City, Tenn. The body was removed to the home this morning from Greer Funeral Home.
