Death Claims
S. G. Moretz

   S. G. Moretz, 71, well-known retired farmer of Boone, Route Two - the Meat 
Camp section - died at his home at 10:30 o'clock Sunday night following an 
extended illness.
   He was the father of Mrs. Ross Pearson and Mrs. Theodore Greer, and a 
brother of Miss Mable Moretz, all of Lenoir.
   He was a member of the Lutheran church and had received his education at 
the old Boone Academy.
   Funeral services will be held at Tabernacle Baptist church near Boone, 
Tuesday at 2 p.m.
   Surviving are his wife, five sons, two other daughters, and two other 
sisters.
