L. Robbins in Lenoir Thursday night, were conducted at Buffalo Cove Baptist church Sunday morning at eleven o’clock. The Rev. J. J. Matney was in charge of the services and burial was in Buffalo Cove cemetery. Mr. Robbins was born in Watauga county, September 15, 1857, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Robbins. He is survived by eight sons and daughters as follows: Mrs. Margaret Robbins of Marion, Mrs. Ida Triplett, Mrs. Nancy Pipes, J. L. Robbins and L. H. Robbins of Lenoir, Mrs. Mary Miller, Mrs. Alice Nelson and R. E. Robbins of Lenoir Route 5. One half-sister, Mrs. Myra Eller of Granite Falls, 61 grandchildren, also survive.
