WATAUGA COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Ivalee Mildred Moretz Sheron, 14 Jul 2004 ----¤¤¤---- Ivalee Mildred Moretz Sheron, 72, Medical Park Drive, Mountain City, died Wednesday, July 14, 2004, in the Watauga Medical Center, Boone, N.C. A native of Watauga County, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Denver and Victoria Hodge Moretz. She had lived a number of years in Carter County. She was an employee of Inland Container for a number of years and also the former Carter County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Siam Baptist Church, Elizabethton. Mrs. Sheron was preceded in death by two husbands, Carol Nave in 1966 and Fred Sheron in 1981, and six brothers and sisters. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Larry Mullins, Mountain City; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Carroll and Mandy Nave, Elizabethton, and Wayne and Patti Nave, Butler; a sister, Nell Watson, Elizabethton; a brother, Charles Moretz, Evansville ,Tenn.; nine grandchildren, Carol Ann Johnson, Michael Houston Nave, Chris Mullins, Crystal Nave, Wayne Franklin Nave, Jr., Patricia Poons, Angelicia Daily, Ashley Nave and Gary Wayne Nave; and one great-grandson, Alexander Yates. Memorial services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Memorial Funeral Chapel, Elizabethton, with Mr. Jim Hutchinson, minister, officiating. Mr. Billy Anderson will provide the music. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of the Mountain City Care Center. The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence of Mike and Mandy Nave, 618 Golf Course Drive, Elizabethton, or the residence of Ann and Larry Mullins, 347 Oak Hill Lane, Mountain City. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. Sheron to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. It was her wish to be cremated.
