Mrs. Della Taylor

   Mrs. Della Townsend Taylor, 94, of Boone, Route 3, died Friday at Watauga 
County Hospital.
   Born in Watauga County, she was the daughter of the late Jonas and Phoebe 
Moody Townsend.
   Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Walton Storie of Boone and Mrs. Nettie 
Reece and Mrs. Loa Honeycutt of Hickory; two sons, Harrison and Dorthy Taylor 
of Vilas; and two sisters, Mrs. Amanda Hollars of Banner Elk and Mrs. Jennie 
Cooke of Whitnel.  Thirty grandchildren, seventy great grandchildren and four 
great great grandchildren also survive.
   The funeral was held 2 p.m. Sunday at the Holy Communion Lutheran Church 
with burial following in the church cemetery.  Rev. Larry Campbell officiated.
