Rites Held For
Mother Of Local
Woman in Watauga

BOONE – Mrs. Rebecca S. (Cook) Tester, of Sugar Grove, died July 7 at the age 
of 98 years.  The funeral was held on Thursday, July 8, at Willow Valley 
Baptist Church with burial in the Harmon cemetery.  Rev. R. C. Eggers was in 
charge with Rev. W. C. Payne and rev. Will Cook assisting.
   The survivors include four sons and six daughters, Charles Tester, Art 
Tester, Sugar Grove; Millard Tester, Bluff City, Tenn; Walter Tester, Sugar 
Grove; Vickie Harmon, Lora Glenn, both of Sugar Grove; Grace Arnette, Reese; 
Epsie Adams, Vineland, New Jersey; Florence Harmon, Lenoir; and Pearl Greene, 
Sugar Grove.
