E. F. YOUNCE’S RITES CONDUCTED Funeral services for Mrs. Frankie Younce, 61, who died Sunday at her home in Patterson township, fere (sic) conducted at Laurel Springs Baptist church, Watauga county, at 2 o’clock this afternoon. Mrs. Younce had been ill a short time before her death. The Rev. Roscoe Greene conducted the rites. A native of Watauga county, Mrs. Younce was a daughter of Sam Greer and Rebecca Watson. She was for many years a member of Laurel Springs church. Surviving are her husband, Edgar F. Younce; four sons, C. J., Wade, Stewart and Edgar; five daughters. Mrs. V. C. Greer, Mrs. Lizzie Bowen, Mrs. Berta Brown, all of Lenoir, Mrs. Beulah Brothel of Brownwood, Ashe county, and Mrs. Minnie Brown, Morganton; four brothers, John and Joe Greer, Watauga county, and Lee P. and Lyman Greer, Caldwell county; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Watson, Marion, Va., Mrs. Nettie Trivette of Caldwell and Mrs. Hattie Trivette of Watauga; 2 half-brothers, Tom Younce of Lenoir and Fred Younce of Wilkesboro; 27 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
