E. Young BLOWING ROCK, May 15 (1951) – (AP)- Mrs. J. E. Young, 69, died at her home here on Monday night at 5:45 o’clock following an illness. Funeral services will be conduced at two o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the Blowing Rock Reformed church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Leona Hartley and Mrs. Mary Helen Ford, both of Blowing Rock; four sons, Fred A., James A., and Rowe W. Young, all of Blowing Rock, and J. E. Young, Jr., of St. Petersburg, Fla., ; two sisters, Mrs. Effie Bradshaw of Lenoir, Route Eight and Mrs. Elsie Knight, also of Blowing Rock; a brother, Trexler of Baltimore, Md.; 23 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The body was removed to the late residence this afternoon from Greer Funeral Home at Lenoir. She was born September 6, 1881, the daughter of David F. and Charlotte Holshouser Trexler of Rowan county.
