CARR, John, Private, N.C. Militia, N.C. Army Accounts (1759-1823)

He married 17 Jan 1789 to Susan Sloan (13 Aug 1769 - 23 Mar 1790) 

He married 2nd on 11 Nov 1790 to Elizabeth Brock (1772-25 Jun 1829)

Children were:

 2- Barbara who married a Mr. John Mallard
 3- Mary who married a Mr. Greer
 4- Barnette (25 Aug 1795-5 Apr 1880) who married 24 Aug 1820 Catherine Boney
 5- James (1798-1850c)
 6- John, Jr. (1797-1850c) m: Mary ___ 1803-1850c
 7- Jacob (c1799-1846)
 8- Joseph (1782-1827)
 9- Susanna Carr
10- William Jr. (1798-1842) married 17 Nov 1823 Linda Dickson (1805-1850c)
11- Lavina (1808-18xx) married David Carr on 11 Sept 1833
12- Elizabeth married John Howard on 25 June 1827
13- Obed (1816-1861) married Elizabeth Boney

John Carr made his will on 1 Sept 1823 and it was taken to Duplin Court for 
probate at the October term. Soldier died 30 Sept 1823 in Duplin County.
