He was the son of Calvin Barnes Aycock Twin- and Charity "Cherry" Barnes. 

Grandson of Simon S Aycock & Kisiah Barnes, John Barnes & Mary Horn. 
Great Grandson of Jesse Aycock-Wayne Co. Patriot-and Piety Barden, 
Jacob Barnes, John Barnes.
 
Barnes Aycock married Sallie Ann Hooks #1 1846-1890 Wayne and Minville 
M. Howell #2.1854-1922 Wayne
 
By Sallie he had the following children:
