Wayne County, NC - Cemeteries From the book, "Gravestone Inscriptions" Reprinted with permission of the Wayne County Historical Association and cannot be reproduced without permission. ========================================================== Cemetery number 391 is located on State Road 1754 about ½ mile north of Cape Fear River (this is an obvious error) and about ¼ mile south of Route 55 on the old Seven Springs Road east of Williams Mill. Mac Williams, 5-11-1794; 6-17-1868 Wife, Mary Uzzell Williams, 1800; 9-12-1872 Rebecca Williams, 10-1828; 7-18-1905 Dempsey Wood Parks, 1-26-1850; 5-14-1915 Wife, Elizabeth Williams, 7-25-1838; 6-8-1914 Two stones had fallen down in 1976. Reported to be buried in this cemetery is: Charles Williams born about 1765 and died between 1819 and 1827. He was the father of the above Mac Williams.
