Olive Highway and State Road 1939. It is on the west side of the Railroad in an old clump of trees in the corner of the field beside the road. Only sunken graves with no markers are there now. In 1925 the bodies of Ezekial and Polly Slocumb were removed to Moore's Creek Battle Ground from this site. The Slocumb Home was near the cemetery and old grist mill on State Road 1939. (Information on site of house and plantation were given by Mr and Mrs Melvin B. Parker to Nancy Thompson and Gladys Weeks on 3-16-1980) Colonel Ezekial Slocumb born 6-18-1760 and died 7-4-1840 Polly Hooks Slocumb, his wife, born in Bertie County, N.C. on 2-10-1760, died in Wayne County, N.C. on 3-6-1836.
