The stones were copies by Mrs Hatch and verified by Mary Griswold, who was familiar with the cemetery and some of the unmarked graves. Winnie W. Hatch, b. 2-13-1855; d. 6-22-1938 Anne Hatch, b. 12-23-1833; d. 10-8-1922 Jospeh R. Hatch, b. 10-17-1821; d. 2-9-1884 Inscription on stone: " In Memory of Father", erected by their son, C.B. Hatch. Clarissa Rhodes Hatch, wife of Richard Hatch, is buried just east of Ann and Joseph Hatch. (No stone). (Bible shows: Clariss Rhodes born 4-9-1800). Richard Blackledge Hatch, born 10-8-1797, is buried in Jones Co, N.C. Ira W. Hatch, b. 1851; d. 1938 James Edward Griswold (buried on Hatch side of Cemetery with no stone) His wife, Mary Tabitha Wooten Griswold (buried on Griswold side of cemetery) James Benjamin Griswold, b. 4-17-1823; d. 5-12-1909 His wife, Ann Blackledge Hatch, b. 8-27-1827; d. 6-1-1909 Richard Griswold and Buckner Griswold. (No markers) Faountain Jacob Smith, b. 7-3-1848; d. 7-3-1850 1900 census for Wayne Co, N.C. - Brogden T.S. - shows: Benjamin James Griswold - Head of house - b. 1823 - 76 yrs - married - w. male His wife, Annie B. Griswold - white female - b. Aug, 1827 - age 73 yrs Son, Buckner Griswold, b. Aug, 1850 - single. Also: James Edward Griswold - b. 1848 - 51 yrs - married - white male His wife, Mary T. Griswold, b. April, 1855 - white female Daughter, Virginia A. Griswold, b.
