The Ivey Cemetery is located on S.R. 1731, about 3 miles north of Seven Springs, N.C.
The old house is still standing nearby, but no one is living in it. It is thought
to be one of the oldest in Wayne County. Number 81 on the map.	(1976)

Richard Ivey, son of John and Mary Anne Ivey b. 1-30-1848, d. 3-7-1865
Killed in the Battle of Kinston, C.S.A.
