Daughter of Richard Bass and Caroline King of Sampson Co, N.C. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Update to this file October 1, 2004 I.P. Andrews (rather than T.P. Anderson) married Charlotte Ham in 1882 in Wayne County, NC. He married Charlotte’s cousin Annie M. Crumpler after Charlotte (b. 1858) died in 1882. They named their first daughter in Charlotte’s honor and called her Lottie. Charlotte’s burial is located on the Country Day School Road at Ham's Springs and just east of the Pate Town Road where there is a cemetery nestling beneath the trees. I understand that Ham's Springs was a popular picnic area for the Confederate Veterans. Charlotte’s Parents are buried there also: Haywood Ham (the senior Haywood), 1791 - 1859 His wife, Penelope Deans Ham, 1819 – 1884 Please note that Ichabod or Bud as he was called, was my great-grandfather who could charm bobwhites to come to him. ___________________________________________________________________ Copyright.
