Wayne County, NC Deed Book 27, p 268, Feb Term of Court, 1861
Pleas and Quarter Session 

We, the undersigned commissioners, appointed by the Sheriff of Wayne
County, NC to divide the lands of John Broadhurst, dec. among the
heirs, viz, on 1 Feb 1861, do as follows:

1 - To William G. Broadhurst lands beginning at bank of Neuse River
at Hepsey Broadhurst corner and runs to a stake in Dunn's line, then
to bank of Neuse River, etc, 1284 acres

2 - To D.J. Broadhurst, 1301 1/2 acres, adjoining Neuse River and the
other tract, etc
