Edith Casey Estate, 1860

Administrator's Bond
State of North Carolina

Know All Men By These Presents, that we Cullen Casey, John E Becton and L J 
Moore are held and firmly bound unto the State of North Carolina in the sum 
of five hundred dollars to be paid to the State. To which payment well and 
truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and 
administrator's jointly and severally, firmly by these Presents. Sealed with 
out seals this 24th day of August AD 1860.

The condition of this obligation is such that if the above bounden Cullen 
Casey Administrator of Edith Casey deceased, do make a true and perfect 
inventory and account of sales of all the real estate and all the goods and 
chattels, rights and credits of the deceased which have or shall come to my 
possession or knowledge or to the possession of any other person for him and 
the same do exhibit into the office of the court where order for 
administration passed within ninety days after the date of these Presents 
and do well and truly administer according to law all the goods, chattels, 
rights and credits of the deceased and the proceeds of all his real estate 
that may be sold for paymnent of his debts, which shall at any time come to 
the possession of the said Cullen Casey.
