It being made appear to the satisfaction of the court upon the application of 
Zilpha Crocker widow of Elijah Crocker dec'd that the said Elijah Crocker died in 
the service of the state in the militia regularly called out in the War of 1812 
and that his widow the said Zilpha Crocker is unable by reason of old and bodily 
infirmities to procure a subsistance for herself and family. The court doth order 
the distreses of the said Zilpha Crocker to be certified to the General Assembly 
and recommends that she be allowed the sum of fifty dollars which from the 
evidence before them is shown to be necessary for her annual support.
