It being made appear to the satisfaction of the court upon the application of John 
Evans and Bryant Evans that the said John Evans and Bryant Evans did serve in thge 
War of 1812 and from disease contracted during said services and old age are now 
unable to procure a subsistence for themselves and their families.  The court doth 
order the distress of the said John Evans and Bryant Evans to be certified to the 
General Assembly and recommend that they be allowed the sum of forty dollars each 
which from the evidence before them is shown to be necessary for their annual 
support.
