which has come into my hands as admr in a settlement of a suit in Equity Jas 
Everitt vs Furney Jernigan - Jno Everitt admr

1 do on said Jernigan for $300 due 1 Jan 1849  Good
1 do on D B Everitt for $35.49 due the 23rd May 1844  Good
1 account on Wm Smith due Nov 1845 for $140.09  Good
1 note on John Atkinson Jr due March 5 1847 for $86.25

To the worshipful the Justices of the court of Pleas & quarter sessions Feb Term 
1848

We the undersigned commissioners appointed at Nov Term 1847 of said court having 
legally summoned & sworn by Ollin Coor Sheriff of said county proceeded on the 
6th, 7th & 8th days of December 1847 to divide & make partition between and among 
Matthew Everitt, Sally Smith, Nancy Everitt, James Everitt, Ann Everitt, Joseph 
Everitt and Robert Everitt tenants in common of the lands descended to them as 
children & heirs at law of their father James Everitt dec'd. Whereupon we have 
made & do hereby make the following appropriations amongst the several claimants 
in severalty viz

Lot No 1 to Sally Smith containing 168 acres valued at $1000 adj southside of 
Neuse river, Coxes corner, William Smiths corner, Rogers 200 acre patent, Beaver 
Dam swamp

Lot No 2 to James Everitt containing 216 acres valued at $1000 adj south bank 
Neuse river, Sally Smiths corner

Lot No 3 to Ann Everitt containing 250 acres valued at $1000 adj south bank of 
Neuse river, James Everitt corner, Beaver dam branch, bank of Mill creek

Lot No 4 to Joseph Everitt containing 216 acres valued at $1000 adj south side 
Mill creek, Ann Everitts corner, also one other tract joining this tract between 
this tract and said Mill creek containing ninety acres

Lot No 5 to Matthew Everitt containing 243 1/2 acres valued at $900 adj run of 
great branch, Shop branch

Lot No 6 to Nancy Everitt containing 300 acres valued at $750 adj Matthew 
Everitts corner, Silas Coxs corner

Lot No 7 to Robert Everitt containing 300 acres valued at $750 adj Nancy Everitts 
corner, Parkers line, Nancy Everitts corner

Also the land contained in deed from Willis Hall to James Everitt dec'd is 
consigned to Nancy Everitt. All of which is respectfully submitted under our 
hands and seals this 1st Jany 1848
