Augt Co 1852
On motion the court proceeded to elect some person to fill the office of Coroner of
Wayne County when Josiah Fields was duly elected whereupon the said Josiah Fields 
came into court & entered into bond in the sum of (amount not given).

Augt Co 1853
Josiah Fields came into court and renewed his bond as coroner for said county with 
Jesse J Baker and William Caraway as securities.
