Cornelius Manning a native of Ireland a free white person and at the present time 
a resident of the county of Wayne appears in court and the said Cornelius Manning 
being sworn declares upon oath that he is bona fide his intention to become a 
citizen of the United States and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity 
to every foreign province, state of soverinty and particular all allegiance and 
fidelity to Victoria Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Brittain and Ireland of 
whom he is now a subject whereupon it is ordered by the court that the said 
declaration of the said Cornelius Manning be recorded by the clerk of this court.
