Ordered Stephen Pipkin be appointed Constable in Capt. Westbrook's District in the room of Joseph Bennett. Stephen Pipkin appointed Constable for 1787, Capt. Westbrook's Dist. Joseph Pipkin & Wm D Whitfield deleted from list of commissioners to complete public buildings. July Court 1787 Stephen Pipkin entered in bond of 250 pounds as Constable. Deed of sale from James Rhodes to Joseph Pipkin approved. Joseph bought 21 acres, Book 3, pg 476. Jurors for next suit. Wm Ellis Pipkin (this is probably Willis) and also Phillip Pipkin. (prob. son of Arthur Pipkin) October Court 1787 Ordered that Phillip Pipkin be appointed Juror the next Court. January Court 1788 Joseph Pipkin, Joseph Sandirur & Wm Beck appointed commissioners to divide estate of Joseph Jernigan. Ordered Jesse Pipkin, Arthur Pipkin, Willis Pipkin and Elisha Pipkin be jurors to next court. April Court 1788 Deed of sale from Solomon McClam to Joseph Pipkin, approved, 300 acres, Book 4, pg 85. Wm Bennett appointed constable in place of Stephen Pipkin. Willis Pipkin appointed Juror to next Court. October Court 1788 Bill of sale from Daniel S. Atkinson to Moses Standley, proved by John Pipkin. Ordered that Willis Pipkin attend next court as Juror - Willis was fined 20 shilling for not appearing as Juror for duty. January Court 1789 Willis Pipkin on grand jury empanneled on 13 Jan 1789. Stephen Pipkin appointed Juror to next term of court. April Court 1789 Last Will and Testament of Joseph Pipkin late in Wayne County, deceased was proved in open court by oath of William Bizzell, a subscribing witness thereto, John Beck and Elisha Pipkin executors mentioned in the said Will, came into Court and qualified agreeable to law, ordered that the same to recorded and that letters testamentary issue accordingly John Beck and Elisha Pipkin executor to the last will and testament of Joseph Pipkin late of Wayne County deceased returned an Inventory of the estate of the said deceased, ordered the same to be recorded. (This was all done on the 1st day of Court) Stephen Pipkin empannelled as Grand Juror. Willis Pipkin ordered to be appointed as Juror at next term of Court. Willis & Stephen Pipkin ordered to be Jurors next term of Court. January Term 1793 Stephen Pipkin listed as Justice. Admin. of estate of Elisha Pipkin, granted to Hannah Pipkin, widow bond with John Westbrook & Willis Pipkin. Ordered John Beck administrator of Susannah Pipkin deceased have leave to sell anything needed to clear debt. Willis Pipkin juror to next term of Court. April Court 1793 Hannah Pipkin returned inventory of Elisha Pipkin estate. John Westbrook appointed guardian to Joseph, Elisha, Charley, James, Milly & Ruth, orphans of Elisha Pipkin. Luke Pipkin relieved as overseer of road. Jesse Pipkin named juror to lay off road. Phillip & Willis Pipkin named jurors to next term of Court. Hannah Pipkin awarded dower portion of Elisha Pipkin estate. July Term 1793 John Beck returned inventory & account of sales for Susannah Pipkin. Silas Jernigan Sheriff returned acct of sale for Elisha Pipkin. Stephen Pipkin appointed Justice in Capt. Pipkin's District. October Court 1793 Stephen Pipkin named juror to help lay off a road. John Westbrook had approval to sell estate of Elish's orphans. Moses Pipkin, Wm Bizzell & Jesse Bizell patrollers in Capt. Pipkin's District. Joseph Westbrooke constable in Capt. Pipkin's District. Jesse & Arthur Pipkin named jurors to lay off roads from Arthur Pipkin's crossing falling creek. Jesse Pipkin named juropr to next term of Court. January Term 1794 Jesse Pipkin called a grand juror. Stephen Pipkin named one of many jurors to lay off road. Sale of Account on Elisha Pipkin accepted. Phillip Pipkin named juror to April Term of Court. April Term 1794 Joseph Shaw appointed constable in Capt. Pipkin's District. Phillip Pipkin named juror to next term of Court.
