To the Sheriff of Wayne County, Greeting :

You are hereby commanded to take the bodies of Steward Pipkin
Elisha W Boyte & Lovit Pipkin (if to be found in your county) and 
them safely keep, so that you have them before the Justices of our 
Court of Pleas and Quarter-Sessions, at the Court to be held for 
the County of Wayne, at the Court-House in Waynesborough on the 
third Monday in August next ; then and there to answer William 
Fellow adm'r &c - use of Joseph Everete Serv. of a plea that they 
render unto him seven hundred & eighty seven dollars & eighty cents 
which &c - to his damag one hundred dollars

Herein fail not, and have you then and there this Writ.

Witness, Philip Hooks, Clerk of our said Court at Waynesborough,
the third Monday of May A.D. 1820

Know all men by these presents that we  Steward Pipkin  Elisha W. Boyte
&  Lovet Pipkin  and  Wille Jernigan  are held and firmly bound unto 
William Riaford Sheriff of our Said County in the sum of one thousand 
five hundred and seventy four dollars current money of this State to 
which payment will and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves our 
heirs Executors and administrators jointly and severally firmly by these
presents Sealed with our Seals and dated this 9th day of August 1820

The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bounden
Steward Pipkin  Elish W. Boyte  &  Lovet Pipkin  do make there personal
appearance at our next County Court to be held for the County of Wayne
at Waynesborough on the third Monday of August next then and there to 
answer unto William Fellow Adm'r to the use of Joseph Everitt in a plea 
of debt and there to abide by the judgment of the said Court and not 
depart this said Court without leave then the above obligation to be void 
otherwise to remain in full force and virtue

I Wm Raiford - Sheriff of Wayne County do hereby assign over the above
obligation and condition to Wm Fellow Adm'r of Jo Evertt for the plaintiff
therein named executors and administrators to be Sude for according to
the statue in such case made and provided in witness whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and seal the 21st of August 1820
