3 May 1831 - Ordered that letters of administration of Asher Pipkin dec'd be 
granted to William Smith who enters bond in the sum of three thousand dollars 
with Jonathan Smith and Bryan Lawhorn his securities.

Ordered that William Smith adm. of Asher Pipkin have leave to sell the 
parishable property at six months credit.

16 May 1831 - An inventory of the estate of Asher Pipkin ret'd to court - let 
it be recorded.

An account of sale of Asher Pipkin ret'd to court - let it be recorded.

Ordered that William Smith adm'r. of Asher Pipkin have liberty to sell Negro 
Jim at six months credit for distribution.
