KINNE of the place aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of Three Hundred and Eighteen dollars to me in hand paid by Daniel KORNEGAY. To Carry into effect a Certain Clause of this Last Will and Testament of Genl. James RHODES, Dec'd. in behalf of Diciy RHODES, a minor orphan of his Brother William RHODES dec'd. the receipt and payment is hereby acknowledged and confessed to be Therewith fully Satisfied, contested? And paid have Bargained Sold & Delivered unto the said KORNEGAY for the --- and purpose aforesaid, A Negro Girl Slave about the age of eleven years named CHARLOT and of the said John M. KINNE do hererby Bond and Oblige myself my heirs, Exrs. And Adminrs. To Warrant Secure aforesaid defend the aforesaid Negro Girl to the said KORNEGAY & his heirs for the above purpose --- and against the Just and Lawful Claim of all and every other person or persons whatsoever. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Seventeenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred fifteen (1815) Signed, Sealed & Delivered In presence of L.
