Francis Casey 
vs
Wm D Cobb
Petition for cart way
Decreed
Upon the reading of the petition & evidence the court seven justices presiding 
doth adjudge that a cart way, between the points designated in the petition to 
wit
From Francis Casey's land across the lands of Wm D Cobb where it adjoins the 
lands of Wait Thompson to the public road over the lands of Wm D Cobb is 
necessary reasonable and just to the petitioner Francis Casey, it is therefore 
ordered & adjudged that a writ be issued to the Sheriff commanding him to summon 
a jury of twelve freeholders who after being duly sworn are to view the premises 
and lay out a cart way not less than fourteen feet wide between the points 
aforesaid over the lands of the said Cobb and also to assess the damages which 
said Cobb may sustain.
