John D. Pearsall guardian to Wm Bryant Whitfield, Lemuel H. Whitfield, Lewis H. 
Whitfield, Harriett Whitfield and Sarah J. Whitfield infant children of William 
Whitfield deceased comes into court and surrenders the guardianship of said 
infants; whereupon said surrender is accepted by the court and on motion it is 
ordered by the court that Grady Outlaw be appointed the guardian of said Wm 
Bryant Whitfield, Lemuel H. Whitfield, Lewis H. Whitfield, Harriett Whitfield and 
Sarah J. Whitfield upon his entering into bond in the sum of fifteen thousand 
dollars with William Kornegay and Lewis Whitfield as sureties. Bond given as 
required.
