Know all men by these presents that I, John Barfield of Wayne Co for
and in consideration of the natural love and affection which I have
and bear my son Solomon I. Barfield and for the sum of $5 paid by said
Solomon, do give grant and convey unto my son Solomon I. Barfield one
certain negro boy named Sam to have and to hold, etc
