Whereas administrator of Joseph Williams on 26 Feb 1869 sold at public
auction to Soloman J. Barfield for sum of $100 and confirmed on 12 Dec
1871 viz: a tract of land beginning at a white oak on the run of
Thunder Swamp at the mouth of Watery Branch and runs down said swamp
north 35 west 12 poles to the mouth of a small branch, then down 
small branch to Simmons corner, etc lying on the west side of Thunder
Swamp adjoining the lands of Washington Winn, Cullen Simmons and Willis
Williamson, etc
