Land in Wayne on south side Neuse River north side of the Yellow Marsh - At a stake in the path in Josiah Fields line and runs along the line and path S 16 E 100 pole to a stake in said path and John Carraway line then S 71 W 66 poles to the head of Yellow Marsh to a black gum at a path then N 20 W 146 poles to a stake in John West line then N 58 E 141 poles to a dead pine then S 81 1/2 E 41 poles to a stake Josiah Fields corner in a path then with said path being sd Fields line to the beginning containing 183 3/4 acres.
