Real Estate Conveyances , 1813 - 1820, Bk 11 p153. **Contributor's notes: The above Deed establishes that Woodard Cook was the son of John and Sarah Cook and the grandson of Jones Cook of Wayne County, N. C. It appears that John and Sarah Cook had a life estate in the land that Woodard was purchasing from Willie Stanton. The land involved in this deed was located in the northern part of Wayne County that became a part of Wilson County in 1856. See the 1783 Will of Jones Cook and the 1817 Will of John Cook for more information. __________________________________________________________________________ USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free information on the Internet, data may be used by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
