State Archives, microfilm S108.160.14N, Secretary of State Land Grant Record Books, Vol. 58, p. 33. //Contributor's notes: The land involved in this grant is slightly to the north and several miles east of Eureka in Wayne County. Thomas Cook was one of the seven sons of Jones and Martha Cook of Wayne County. The names of the other individuals are spelled exactly as they appear in the document. That said, I have seen the individual named Richard Durden referred to in other documents as Richard Durdeno and the individual referred to as Isaac Woods may actually have been Isaac Woodard. __________________________________________________________________________ USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free information on the Internet, data may be used by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
